Dr. CleRenda McGrady is a wife, mother of four, a philanthropist, author, entrepreneur, and life coach. McGrady is a Growth Coach and the founder of ReNew Coaching Center, where she is a firm believer of when we renew our thoughts, we transform our lives. Her research is centered around the positive impact that African American fathers have on their teenage daughters’ self-efficacy and motivation.
McGrady is also the founder and director of PUSH Girls Academy (PGA), a high school girl mentoring and scholarship program. PGA supports, empowers, and develops young ladies to become (P)urpose-led, (U)nstoppable, (S)uccess-bound, and (H)ope-filled, so they can have the confidence to compete, succeed, and soar in an evolving and demanding world. McGrady’s program is built around providing the young ladies the 3 E’s of experience, examples, and exposure to showcase what is available and obtainable to the young ladies.
Mrs. McGrady’s recognitions include Houston Woman’s Magazine Top 50 Influential Women; Houston Chronicle Community Philanthropic Award; Inspire Women Community Leader Award, and Sweet 16 Women Making a Difference Award.

She has also funded half a million dollars to the Aloa Harris Scholarship Fund, in honor of her late mother. This fund provided scholarships to women seeking to use their gift to pursue missions or ministry.
McGrady holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from North Carolina State University, a Master’s Degree of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from North Carolina Central University, and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership at Baylor University.
